I am really trying to be nice to my wife, even though she made a terrible decision. She got a postcard in the mail that informed her that she had won a new Citroen Picasso. She was so excited that she didn’t stop to consider the fact that she had never entered to win anything. Then, she called the number on the postcard and gave them her credit card information. We now have an astounding amount of debt and no new car. I told her that she cannot ever respond to something like that without talking to me about it. I have always wanted a new car, but I should have known when I received that postcard in the mail saying that I had won a new Citroen Picasso that it was too good to be true. I called the number on the card and gave them all of my credit card information. Then, I never heard from them again until my statement came in and my card was maxed out. I coudln’t believe that I had been so foolish. I will never be so stupid to do something like that again. I hope nobody else falls for that trick.
