I have been researching about the different applications of fabric structures because my professor has assigned me the topic. As an architecture student, one of the things that I have to learn is about innovations in building structures. One of the best examples of innovative buildings are the fabric structures. In order to learn more about this, I visited sites that make use of this portable facility. I went to theme parks and resorts that have fabric structures. I also visited my brother who was working in a port. I learned that fabric structures are used in ports to store old equipment and other facilities because they are cost effective. My brother told me that the fabric structures serve as their work space when they are asked to repower cargo handlers. They also use the structure as a garage and a general storage house for other equipment in the port.
