who is it for

At first this was going to be for designers and developers who specialize in the web, but we realize there are others who also want to make the web a 'better' place. If you agree, then this site is for you.

where will it lead

Standards, usability, accessibility, design... if it pertains to refreshing the web, then we will go there (eventually).

what it might be

  • a blog about current web trends
  • a showcase of standards-based websites in the Dayton area
  • a forum to share tips, ask questions and network in general
  • an anarcho-
    syndicalist commune
    with all decisions approved at a bi-weekly meeting by a simple majority in the case of purely internal affairs unless a two-thirds majority...

why it is not

  • a contest - we are not here to judge websites, just make them better
  • a portfolio - although we may list sites that epitomize refreshment, we will not be a gallery for one or two designers
  • a business directory - a network maybe, but there will be no lists or ads for specific firms
  • a dictatorship - a self-perpetuating autocracy in which the working classes...
